Brother Stan Hopper has served God through the ministry of music for 30 years.   He dedicated his life to this ministry at age 19, and served his first church, Farrington Baptist, at age 21.  He has earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Music from San Jacinto Junior College, and a Bachelor's of Science in Business and Commerce Degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Houston Downtown College.  

Currently, he is a CPA with Newton, Newton, Downs & Blair, PC in Bellaire Texas.  He is also half of the evangelistic team "Sword and Shield Ministries," leading in worship on a volunteer basis at the Star of Hope Men's Center in Houston.

Stan and his lovely wife, Deborah met in late 1980, and married in May, 1981.  Their marriage of 26 years has produced two sons: Ryan, an 18 year old senior at Pasadena Memorial High School; and Travis, a 13 year old eighth grader at Miller Intermediate in Pasadena. 

Brother Stan began his ministry at New Hope in August, 2007.
